Government decides for shorter work days during Ramadan

 

RAMALLAH, Monday, April 29, 2019 (WAFA) - Daily work hours in government institutions will be reduced to only five during the holy month of Ramadan, according to a government statement

It said work will begin at 9:00 in the morning and end at 2:00 in the afternoon during Ramadan that is expected to start on Monday or Tuesday.

Usually work hours are seven, from 8 A.M. until 3:00 P.M.

Meanwhile, the cabinet, during its Monday session, declared Wednesday a public holiday on the occasion of the International Labor Day.
