JENIN, Monday, April 29, 2019 (WAFA) – Israeli intelligence threatened to demolish the family home of freed prisoner Waleed Ghawadreh if he does not turn himself in to the Israeli intelligence at Salem military camp, west of Jenin.
Waleed’s brother, ‘Alaa, told WAFA an Israeli intelligence officer informed him that his brother Waleed is wanted by the Israeli intelligence and ordered him to turn in his brother, otherwise, the Israeli authorities would demolish their family home.
Israeli forces further raided and wreaked havoc into the homes of Waleed’s two brothers; ‘Issam and ‘Alaa.
Waleed was released from Israeli jails almost two months ago after spending a 12-year sentence.
Later reports said Ghawadreh turned himself over to the Israeli authorities.
The army claimed Ghawadreh was involved with another Palestinian in a shooting attack earlier today at an Israeli army post in the north of West Bank. The other Palestinian was shot and injured at the time of the incident and arrested while Ghawadreh was able to get away. The army has conducted a manhunt for him.
