RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 28, 2019 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammed Shtayyeh said that the Palestinian leadership will not accept the continuation of the status quo and will reconsider the political, legal, economic, and security relationship with Israel.
This came during a meeting with Norway‘s special envoy for the Middle East peace process Tor Wennesland in Ramallah, where they discussed the donors’ conference agenda scheduled to be held in Brussels at the end of this month.
Shtayyeh stressed the need to create an international alliance to face the US so-called ‘Deal of the Century’ and to come out with a clear political position to emphasize that there is no alternative to the two-state solution and the establishment of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
