RAMALLAH, Thursday, April 25, 2019 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas assigned today Mr. Mohammad Abu Awad as head of the Palestinian Economic Council for Development and Reconstruction (PECDAR), replacing Mohammad Shtayyeh who recently occupied the position of the Prime Minister.
Shtayyeh previously resigned from his post as head of PECDAR when he was sworn-in as Prime Minister before President Abbas earlier in this month.
