RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 21, 2019 (WAFA) – Palestinian exports increased by 10% in February compared to January, while it decreased by 13% compared to February 2018 and reached $83.7 million, according to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).
PCBS said that exports to Israel increased in February by 2% compared to January and represented 89% of total exports in the same month. On the other hand, exports to other countries decreased by 2% during the same period compared to January.
Additionally, imports decreased in February by 9% compared to January, 2019, while it increased by 6% compared to February 2018 and reached $459.8 million.
Imports from Israel decreased by 3% in February compared to January, and represented 59% of total imports in the same month. At the same time, imports from other countries decreased by 15% compared to January.
