RAMALLAH, Sunday, April 21, 2019 (WAFA) – Rainy and cold conditions prevail today with another drop in temperature, approaching 8 degrees Celsius below annual average. Rain, accompanied by occasional thunderstorms, is expected in most districts of Palestine, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, active to gusty. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas

Partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions are expected for Monday with a rise of temperature which approaches 6°C below the seasonal average, and with a little chance of rain on some areas.

Another rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday but remains two to three degrees Celsius below the annual average. Temperature is expected to continue to rise on Wednesday setting back to its seasonal average.

PMD warns people against high wind speed, low visibility and slippery roads.
