RAMALLAH, Monday, April 15, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy, dusty and relatively cold, particularly in mountainous districts, in daytime and cold in nighttime with a drop of temperature which becomes lower than the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Few sporadic showers are expected to develop later in the evening and night hours. Wind is northwesterly to northerly and light to moderate in daytime, whereas it is set to be southwesterly to northwesterly and moderate to active in nighttime. Sea waves are medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 18°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 15°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Tuesday’s temperature is set to further drop and approach 3°C below the seasonal average. Partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions are expected to prevail in mountainous districts, whereas pleasant conditions are expected in the Jordan Valley. A chance of sporadic light rains is expected on some districts.
PMD expects Wednesday’s temperature to remain steady with partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions. A chance of scattered light rains is expected one some districts, particularly the northern.
Thursday’s temperature is expected to remain steady with partially cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions in most districts, except for the Jordan Valley where pleasant conditions are expected. Periods of light rains are expected on some districts, especially the northern.
