RAMALLAH, Monday, April 01, 2019 (WAFA) – Weather today is partly cloudy and cold to very cold as the low pressure continues to affect the region, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered rain along with occasional thunderstorms and hail are expected in most areas of Palestine.

Wind is southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active, with strong gust at times. Sea waves are high.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 11°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 17°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday even though cold conditions and possible rain are expected to continue.

Mostly cloudy weather conditions are likely on Wednesday yet with a rise in temperature.

Thursday’s weather is partially cloudy. Temperature is expected to rise. Scattered rain is expected in some areas.

PMD warns people against floods in low areas and valleys, gusty winds, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
