RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 31, 2019 (WAFA) - The 30th Arab Summit kicked off on Sunday in the Tunisian capital with the participation of president Mahmoud Abbas.

President Abbas is set to deliver a speech on the overall developments and challenges facing the Palestinian cause.

The president is scheduled to hold a series of meeting on the sidelines of the Summit.

President Mahmoud Abbas arrived on Saturday evening in the Tunisian capital of Tunis ahead of the 30th meeting of the Arab Summit scheduled for today.

Accompanying the President are PLO Secretary-General Saeb Erekat, Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki, President’s Adviser for Diplomatic Affairs Majdi Khaldi, and Palestinian ambassador to Tunisia Hayel Fahoum.
