RAMALLAH, Sunday, March 31, 2019 (WAFA) – A low pressure accompanied by a cold front is expected to affect the region today causing temperature to significantly drop, with considerably rainy and cold conditions, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Scattered rain along with occasional thunderstorms and hail are expected in most areas of Palestine.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 10°C and a low of 7°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 9°C and a low of 6°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 11°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

The low pressure is expected to continue to affect the country on Monday. Therefore, rain, thunderstorms and hail are expected on various districts.

A rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday even though cold conditions and possible rain are expected to continue.

Mostly cloudy weather conditions are likely on Wednesday yet with a rise in temperature.

PMD warns people against floods in low areas and valleys, gusty winds, low visibility due to fog formation and slippery roads.
