RAMALLAH, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 (WAFA) - The overall Consumer Price Index (CPI) for Palestine during October 2018 increased by 0.37% compared with September, the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said on Wednesday.
When compared with October of last year, CPI also increased by 0.07%, an increase of 1.07% in the West Bank and 1.61% in Jerusalem, while it decreased by 1.60% in Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian CPI during the first ten months of 2018 decreased by 0.27% compared with the same period of the previous year, a decrease by 1.41% in Gaza Strip, while it increased by 0.28% in the West Bank and by 0.90% in Jerusalem.
The changes in Palestinian CPI for October 2018 are traced back to changes in prices of the following expenditure sub groups compared with previous month:
