Twenty two civilians killed in Gaza by Israeli shelling and gunfire

GAZA, June 7, 2025 (WAFA( - Twenty-two citizens were killed early Saturday morning in Israeli shelling and gunfire in several areas of the Gaza Strip.

WAFA correspondent reported that 12 citizens were killed and more than 40 others were injured when the occupation forces bombed tents for displaced people west of Khan Yunis, including four members of one family (the father, mother, and their two sons).

He added that seven other citizens were killed when the occupation forces bombed a house housing displaced people west of Gaza City.

Five citizens were also killed and others were injured by Israeli army gunfire near an aid center west of Rafah.

Our correspondent noted that the number of martyrs killed by Israeli gunfire while trying to obtain food since the 27th of last month has reached 115, with more than 580 injured, and nine missing.

On the first day of Eid al-Adha, 33 citizens were killed in Israeli raids and shelling on several areas in the Gaza Strip.

Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation has been committing genocidal crimes in the Gaza Strip, leaving more than 180,000 dead and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing.

Hundreds of thousands have been displaced, and famine has claimed the lives of many, including children, as well as widespread destruction.
