HEBRON, Wednesday, November 14, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces overnight delivered an order for the demolition of a Palestinian-owned house and removal of a caravan in al-Mafqara village, east of the southern West Bank town of Yatta, south of Hebron, said a local activist.
Coordinator of the Anti-Wall and Settlement Committee Rateb Jabour said that Israeli forces delivered two notices for the demolition of a 140-meter-sqaure house belonging to Fawwaz Rab’i and the removal of a caravan belonging to Ahmad Makhamra.
Yesterday, Israeli soldiers informed residents of the village of Sh’ib al-Batim in Masafer Yatta area of its intention to demolish several rooms and an animal shed under the pretext they were built without a permit.
Israel has often delivered demolition notices to mobile residential structures and sheds and halted the digging of wells in Khirbet al-Mafqara to make room for settlement expansion.
