RAMALLAH, Friday, November 9, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday quelled dozens of protesters who were demonstrating in Jabal al-Risan area, west of Ramallah in the West Bank, against Israel’s plan to confiscate hundreds of dunums of land in the area, local sources said.
Soldiers fired rubber-coated steel rounds and teargas canisters towards the protesters to disperse them, causing many cases of suffocation from gas inhalation. A paramedic was also injured from the shrapnel of the ambulance he was in when it was hit by a rubber-coated bullet.
The Israeli soldiers arrested three of the protesters after attacking them.
