Erekat: Israel said it is going to cut from PA tax revenues to give to Gaza

RAMALLAH, Monday, November 05, 2018 (WAFA) – Israel informed the Palestinians that it is going to cut money from the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) tax revenues and give them to Gaza, Saeb Erekat, secretary general of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) said on Monday.

He told a conference in Ramallah that cutting American aid to the Palestinian Authority and talk about humanitarian assistance to the besieged Gaza Strip and other measures aim at separating Gaza from the West Bank.

There is an American-Israeli project based on separating the Gaza Strip from the West Bank and Jerusalem to undermine the Palestinian national project and kill chances of establishing an independent Palestinian state on the June 4, 1967 borders.

Israel, under Benjamin Netanyahu, wants to replace the two-state solution with one state with two systems, or an apartheid regime, he said.
