Soldiers raid West Bank home, shoot father and detain son

HEBRON, Monday, November 05, 2018 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was injured on Monday when Israeli forces shot him in the leg and detained his son during a raid at his home in the town of Halhoul, in the south of the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security and medical sources.

Security sources said Israeli forces raided the home of Khaled al-Dodeh, 50, detained his son, Mohannad, and assaulted the rest of his family members. When Dodeh attempted to stop the soldiers from assaulting his family members, he was shot in the left leg.

Red Crescent ambulance rushed Dodeh to nearby Hebron Hospital where he treated and reported in moderate condition.

Israeli soldiers also set up checkpoints at Hebron and Halhoul’s entrances during the night and stopped and searched cars.
