BATHLEHEM, Sunday, November 04, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities handed stop-work orders on four houses that were recently renovated in Shushahla area, in the town of al-Khader, south of the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem, said a local activist.
Ahmad Salah, coordinator of the Anti-Settlement Committee in the town, told WAFA a large military force accompanied by staff from the Israeli civil administration, stormed Shushahla area and handed residents stop-work orders against four houses.
The notices cited unpermitted construction as a pretext.
Salah said the residents were verbally ordered to leave the area after 5:00 PM on Sunday or else will face being detained.
On Saturday, Israeli army forced the residents out of the four houses and used explosive to blow the doors off.
