RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 1, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas is expected to meet his Egyptian counterpart, President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi, in Sharm el-Sheikh on Friday, according to Palestine’s ambassador to the Egypt., Diab al-Louh.

He told the official Voice of Palestine radio on Thursday that President Abbas was invited by Sisi to attend the opening session of the World Youth Conference.

The two leaders will also discuss the latest in Palestinian developments and issues of common interest, said Louh.

Egypt has been instrumental in mediating intra-Palestinian reconciliation.
