RAMALLAH, Wednesday, October 24, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Wednesday is partially cloudy to cloudy, warm to very warm and dusty in daytime with steady temperature, which remains 4 to 5°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Weather becomes partially cloudy to cloudy and pleasant in most districts in nighttime with a chance of scattered rain showers and occasional thunderstorms on some districts during the evening and night hours. Wind is southwesterly, light to moderate and active at times. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah a high of 27°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza.

Thursday’s temperature is set to significantly drop and become slightly below the seasonal average. Partially cloudy to cloudy and pleasant conditions are expected for daytime and relatively cold for nighttime with a chance of showers, which could be torrential, and thunderstorms.

Friday’s weather is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime. Temperature is set to further drop and approach 7°C lower than the seasonal average with a chance of morning scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms.

Saturday’s weather is expected to be partially cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime . Temperature is expected to rise while remaining 4°C lower than its annual average.

PMD warns people on Thursday and Friday against low visibility and slippery roads.
