JERUSALEM, Sunday, October 21, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Sunday remanded the Palestinian Governor of Jerusalem, Adnan Ghaith, for for days, hours after he was arrested from his hometown of Beit Hanina, north of Jerusalem.
Mohammad Mahmoud, Ghaith’s attorney, said an Israeli court in Jerusalem has referred Ghaith to the court of Ofer, near Ramallah, for allegedly “committing a violation” inside the occupied West Bank.
Ghaith was arrested yesterday when three police cars intercepted his car and took him to an unknown destination. No reason was given for the arrest.
