RAMALLAH, Saturday, October 20, 2018 (WAFA) – One person was killed and 185 others injured in 223 traffic accidents that occured in the West Bank last week, the police said in a press statement on Saturday.
It said four of the injuries were serious, 15 moderate and 166 light.
The police also said that out of 14,602 vehicles tested last week, permits of 179 vehicles were canceled for lack of safety conditions, whereas 195 vehicles were destroyed for being illegal. The police said it issued 6692 notices of traffic violation to drivers.
