GAZA, Saturday, October 20, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli navy detained on Saturday two Palestinian fishermen as they were sailing in the northern Gaza shore.
WAFA correspondent said that the navy detained two fishermen brothers and seized their boat while they were sailing some three nautical miles in the sea. They were taken to an unknown destination.
Israeli navy regularly targets Palestinian fishermen in the Gaza sea, particularly after Israel has recently reduced the fishing zone to three nautical miles from the previous six as a punishment for the ongoing border March of Return protests.
The two fishermen were later released but not their boat.
