RAMALLAH, Monday, October 15, 2018 (WAFA) – The Israeli army rounded up 26 Palestinians and foreign activists in raids across the West Bank during the night and early morning, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
It said at least five people were detained from the Tulkarm area in the north of the West Bank where the Israeli army is conducting a wide scale manhunt for a Palestinian who allegedly killed two Israeli settlers last week. The detainees included a 17-year-old from the town of Shweikeh, home of the alleged attacker.
Six more were detained from several Ramallah area villages, four from the Hebron area, four from the Bethlehem area, including two 15-year-old minors, one from Qalqilya and three from the Jerusalem district, including twin brothers from Abu Dis, east of Jerusalem.
Three were also detained on Monday morning at Khan al-Ahmar village east of Jerusalem including two international activists.
