BETHLEHEM, October 11, 2018 (WAFA) - The Fourth Jordanian Industries Exhibition concluded in Bethlehem was a huge economic event that established important business relationships on both official and private levels, a press release by the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry said on Thursday.
The exhibition was organized jointly by the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Amman Chamber of Industry, with the support of the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy and the Jordanian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply. The event was organized by Eventive and the Tamimi Exhibition Company and included over 65 Jordanian factories and companies participating in the exhibition which came from various service and manufacturing industries.
Samir Hazboun, chairman of the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry, expressed his great satisfaction with the success achieved by this exhibition, especially that a number of trade agreements were signed between Palestinian and Jordanian businessmen. Further, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and the Amman Chamber of Commerce, which will result in the exchange of information, expertise, and training as well as collaboration in organizing joint exhibitions.
Hazboun further clarified that the exhibition was supported by the Amman Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce and Industry in an attempt to fortify cooperation between the two countries and to emphasize the special role the Jordanian Kingdom has in its defense of the Palestinian cause. He expressed his gratitude to all parties in both countries in organizing this successful exhibition.
