HEBRON, October 6, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli military Saturday ordered a halt on the construction of a house and work on a water well at a location in Area C in the south of West Bank, according to a local official.

Rateb Jabour, coordinator of the Committee against Settlements and the Wall south of Hebron, told WAFA that Israeli army ordered members of the Shawahin and Nawaja families in an area south of Yatta to stop construction of a house and work on a water well under the pretext work is being done without permission.

Both were still in the construction phase.

Israel does not allow any Palestinian development in Area C of the West Bank, which makes up around 60% of the area of the West Bank and which is under full Israel military control.
