RAMALLAH, July 12, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Thursday detained seven Palestinians as they carried out several overnight raids across the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Forces detained three Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their families’ homes in Salfit district.
In Tulkarem, Israeli troops detained two Palestinians and searched several homes during separate raids in Thanabeh area and Qiffin town, east and north of Tulkarem city, respectively.
Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, another Palestinian was detained from Sebastia village, north of Nablus.
In Jenin, Israeli forces raided Jenin city and Jenin refugee camp where they conducted extensive home-to-home search and installed roadblocks.
A similar raid was reported in Burin town, west of Jenin, and a cluster of villages to the east of Jenin. No detentions were reported though.
Another Palestinian was detained during a similar predawn raid in Deir Abu Mashaal village, northwest of Ramallah.
