RAMALLAH, July 10, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday detained a total of 16 Palestinians and injured another during multiple overnight raids across the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
Israeli forces detained two former prisoners after breaking into their homes in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
They detained two other Palestinians after storming their family homes in Sanur village, southwest of Jenin.
Two others were detained during separate raids in Qabatiya, south of Jenin.
Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, forces conducted a raid into Qalqiliya city, detaining two Palestinians.
In Ramallah district, Israeli troops rounded up three Palestinians from Silwad, a town to the northeast of Ramallah.
Meanwhile, a Palestinian was detained from Qarawat Bani Hassan, a town to the northwest of Salfit.
In the southern West Bank, soldiers raided Dheisheh refugee camp, south of Bethlehem city, where they detained three Palestinians.
In Hebron, soldiers detained a Palestinian during a raid that triggered clashes in Jabal Abu Rumman and al-Hawoz.
During the ensuing clashes, soldiers shot and injured a Palestinian youth with a bullet in the leg. The casualty was rushed to a hospital, where medics described his condition as moderate.
Soldiers also conducted a raid into Dhahiriya town, south of Hebron, where they seized two vehicles.
