HEBRON, July 9, 2018 (WAFA) –The Israeli army set up a tent on Monday on a privately-owned Palestinian land in the southern West Bank city of Hebron in an area close to Kiryat Arba settlement causing concern of imminent Israeli takeover of the Palestinian land, according to WAFA correspondent.

He said that the land, which belongs to the Jaber family, is four dunums in area and near another plot of land where the army last month placed a number of caravans on it.

Residents expressed concern that setting up the tent and caravans in an area Jewish settlers use to reach the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron could be a prelude to turning it into a new settlement on their land.
