BEIJING, June 28, 2018 (WAFA) - The official Palestinian delegation currently on a tour in China got a first-hand look at work at the official Chinese news agency, Xinhua.

The delegation learned more about the Chinese media experiences and discussed cooperation between the Palestinian and Chinese official media.

The delegation, which includes 20 members of several official Palestinian media institutions such as Palestine Broadcasting Corporation, al-Hayat al-Jadida newspaper and Palestine News and Information Agency, WAFA, was warmly welcomed by a number of Chinese editors in the Arabic Desk Department in the agency who spoke in detail about the mechanisms followed in covering local and international news, especially news and stories related to Palestine, Palestinians and the Palestinian cause.

The Palestinian delegation talked about the Palestinian media‘s interest in reporting the pro-Palestine Chinese positions, precisely statements made by Chinese officials, and praised the cooperation between Palestinian and Chinese media institutions and news agencies and ways it could be strengthened.

At the end of the visit, the Palestinian delegation toured the building of the Chinese news agency and got to learn about each of its departments and sections in detail.
