Israeli forces detain 20 Palestinians in West Bank raids

 

NABLUS, June 20, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday conducted multiple predawn raids across the West Bank and detained a total of 20 Palestinians, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli forces raided Nablus city in the dead of night, ransacking a number of homes and detaining four Palestinians.

They also detained two others during a similar raid into Tell village, west of Nablus city.

Meanwhile, forces detained three Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their families’ homes in Jenin refugee camp in the northern West Bank.

Yet, three others were detained during similar overnight raids across the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem.

The raids were reportedly conducted into the Tulkarem neighborhood of Dhannba as well as Qaffin and Kafr Abbush towns, northeast and southeast of Tulkarem.

Additionally, a Palestinian was detained from the Ramallah and al-Bireh district.

In the southern West Bank, forces conducted a raid into Hindaza, east of Bethlehem, where they detained a Palestinian.

Another was detained from Beit Fajjar town, south of Bethlehem.

In Hebron, forces raided Halhul town, north of Hebron city, where they detained four Palestinians.

They carried out other raids into Dura and Yatta towns, south of the city. No detentions were reported though.
