RAMALLAH, June 13, 2018 (WAFA) –Wednesday’s weather is partially cloudy and pleasant in most areas in the daytime and relatively cold in nighttime, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Temperatures are set to remain around 3°C below the seasonal average with a chance of scattered light rains and occasional thunderstorms developing till afternoon. Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to moderate, and occasionally active. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem is set to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah a high of 23°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho and the Jordan Valley, temperature is set to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza.
Thursday’s weather is mainly sunny, clear and pleasant in mountainous areas and relatively warm in the Jordan Valley. Temperatures are set to rise and become slightly above the seasonal average.
PMD expects Friday’s temperatures to further rise and approach 2°C above the seasonal average with mainly sunny and clear conditions in mountainous areas and relatively warm to warm conditions in the Jordan Valley.
Abundantly sunny and warm to very warm conditions are expected for Saturday with a rise in temperatures which approach 7°C above the seasonal average.
