RAMALLAH, June 3, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces detained on Tuesday 24 Palestinians, half of them from Jerusalem, according to the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS).
It said Israeli police detained 12 Palestinians who were worshipping at Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem’s Old City for reading the Quran loudly.
The forces also detained five people from the Tamimi clan from Nabi Saleh near Ramallah.
They also detained three people from the Hebron area, including a woman identified as Sauzan Oweiwi, member of Hebron city council.
Soldiers also detained two from the Shihadeh family from the village of Urif in the Nablus area and two others from Jenin the Jenin area in the West Bank, including one detained at the border crossing with Jordan.
