RAMALLAH, June 4, 2018 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates offered on Monday to help the people of Guatemala overcome the tragic effects of the Fuego volcano that led to the death of 25 people and the displacement of more than 2000 others.

The Foreign Ministry expressed in a statement its deep condolences for the death of the 25 citizens of Guatemala and wished speedy recovery to the wounded, while stressing that the State of Palestine is ready to lend a hand to help the Guatemalan people deal with this disaster.

The volcano erupted on Sunday southwest of Guatemala City shooting gas and ashes, killing at least 25 people while many others are still missing and forcing the evacuation of thousands of people.
