Weather: Moderate, spring-like conditions

 

RAMALLAH, June 1, 2018 (WAFA) – Partially cloudy skies and moderate spring-like conditions are expected to prevail on Friday as temperature is expected to become four degrees Celsius lower than the annual average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Rain is expected on some areas, accompanied by thunderstorms at times with northwesterly to southwesterly, light to moderate wind becomes active at times and sea waves are light to moderate.

Temperature on Friday is expected to be in the low to mid-20s during the day in most of the Palestinian territories with the exception of the Jordan Valley where temperature is expected to reach the low 30s. Temperature drops at night to the mid-teens in the central West Bank and the low to mid-20s in the coastal areas and the Jordan Valley.

Similar weather conditions are expected for Saturday with another slight drop in temperature as light scattered rain is expected on some areas.

A rise in temperature is expected for Sunday and Monday to become three degrees Celsius lower than the annual average.
