RAMALLAH, May 27, 2018 (WAFA) – Director of al-Istishari Hospital in Ramallah, Dr. Saeed Sarahneh, said on Sunday that the health of President Mahmoud Abbas has been rapidly improving following one week of hospitalization for lung infection.

He said the results of new health checks on the President showed he has gradually been getting well to normal averages.

Sarahneh said the medical staff overseeing Abbas’ health condition did not yet give a date for his discharge from hospital, but they are currently following up on latest health checks.

Abbas was admitted to hospital a week ago after he was diagnosed with lung infection.
