BETHLEHEM, May 19, 2018 (WAFA) - About 70 Palestinian police officers, joined with another 50 security officers from various security forces, performed a scenario training exercise in Bethlehem on Friday to enhance the command and control system and the coordination between the different security services in Palestine. The drills were anchored by the Joint Operation Center (JOC).

A press release said the scenario, which took place in different parts of the city, was about mastering two simultaneously occurring tasks - a hostage situation and a serious theft case.

Scenario training is a key tool to maintain upgrading the capabilities of the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP), said the press release. EUPOL COPPS police advisers have spent 16 months in supporting, advising, implementing and finally evaluating the scenarios that were performed.
