GAZA, May 19, 2018 (WAFA) – A second Palestinian succumbed to his wounds on Saturday sustained from Israeli army gunfire during the March of Return protests on Monday at the Gaza border with Israel, according to medical sources.
Mohammad Mazen Elayyan, 20, died of his wounds at Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza. Elayyan was shot and critically injured during the protests against relocating the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Earlier Saturday, 58-year-old Moin Sai has also died of wounds sustained on Monday.
With their death, the total number of Palestinians killed on Monday reached 64 and the total since the start of the Great March Return protests on March 30 reached 119. More than 12,000 Palestinians were injured, according to Ministry of Health figures, many remain in critical condition.
