Clashes in Hebron result in two injuries, dozens of suffocation cases

HEBRON, May 15, 2018 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians sustained injuries Tuesday in confrontations with Israeli soldiers in the center of the city of Hebron, said local sources.

Israeli soldiers shot live and rubber bullets, sound bombs and tear gas canisters at protesters, hitting two in the abdomen and leg with live bullets, according to medical sources. They were reported in moderate condition.

Dozens others suffered suffocation from tear gas inhalation and were treated at the scene.

The protests were called for as Palestinians mark 70 years for their uprooting and dispersion from their homes and land in Palestine when Israel was created.
