GAZA, May 15, 2018 (WAFA) – An 8-month old infant died in Gaza early Tuesday as a result of tear gas inhalation fired randomly by Israel the day before at thousands of Palestinians near the border fence with Israel, according to the Ministry of Health.

The death of the infant, identified as Laila Anwar Ghandour, brings the total number of Palestinians murdered by the Israeli army in a day of carnage on the eastern Gaza border to 59.

Among the dead were seven children under 18 years of age.

More than 2000 Palestinians were also injured, many in critical and serious condition and they include children and women, according to ministry statistics.
