RAMALLAH, May 15, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday, Nakba Day, is clear and pleasant with a rise in temperature to become above its annual average for this time of the year, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate and sea waves are low.
Temperature on Tuesday is expected to be in the mid to upper 20s during the day in most of the West Bank and Gaza Strip except the Jordan Valley where temperature is expected to reach the low 30s. Temperature though drops at night to the mid to upper teens during the night in the Palestinian areas in general.
Wednesday’s weather, which could be the first day of the holy fast month of Ramadan, is going to be hot and dry as temperature is expected to rise and become four degrees Celsius above the annual mean.
Another rise in temperature is expected for Thursday when Muslims are going to be observing the dawn to sunset fast to become eight degrees above the mean with very hot and dry conditions.
Friday’s weather is expected to remain very hot and dry as temperature continues to rise to become 10 degrees Celsius above the annual mean, said the PMD.
