CAIRO, May 14, 2018 (WAFA) -- Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, described on Monday relocating the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as a dangerous move.

Aboul-Gheit said in a statement that it is disgraceful for those countries which participated in the inauguration ceremony of the US embassy in Jerusalem.

This violates the international law and the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, he added.

The Arab League chief called on the world to stick to the international community and give up any procedures that go against the rights of the Palestinian people and may undermine peace chances.
