GAZA, May 14, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers shot and killed 52 Palestinians on Monday during massive protests at the Gaza border and injured more than 2400 others, according to the Ministry of Health.
Tens of thousands of Palestinians gathered at the Gaza border since the morning heeding calls for mass rallies to protest the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem and to mark the 70th anniversary for the Palestinian Nakba.
Palestinian officials described the killing as “massacre” and called for international protection for the unarmed Palestinian civilians.
