GAZA, May 14, 2018 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Health said in its latest statistics on the casualties inflicted by the Israeli army on the Gaza border until 3:30 p.m. on Monday that 38 Palestinians were killed and 1703 wounded.
It said among the dead were five children under the age of 18, one woman, one member of the civil defense.
Among the injured, 27 are critical, 59 serious, 735 moderate and 882 minor.
The injured include 122 children, 44 women, 11 medics and 11 journalists.
The ministry said 772 were hit by live bullets, three by rubber-coated metal bullets, 91 from shrapnel, 100 other injuries and 737 from tear gas.
It said 65 injuries were in the neck and head, 116 in the upper parts of the body, 48 in the back and chest, 34 in the abdomen and pelvis, and 651 in the lower parts.
