RAMALLAH, May 12, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Saturday is partially cloudy to cloudy, relatively cold on mountains and moderate in other areas with a significant drop in temperature becoming five degrees Celsius below the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Scattered rain showers are expected on most areas. Wind is southwesterly to westerly, moderate to active with strong wind at times. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature on Saturday is expected to be in the low 20s during the day in most of the West Bank and Gaza Strip with the exception of the Jordan Valley where temperature is expected to reach the upper 20s. Temperature, though, drops at night to reach the low teens in the central West Bank and the mid to upper teens in the Jordan Valley and the coastal areas.
PMD expects weather and temperature on Sunday to remain the same. Scattered rain showers are expected to fall on most areas.
Monday’s weather is partially cloudy to clear and mild. Temperature is expected to rise while remaining three degrees Celsius lower than its annual average.
Weather on Tuesday is clear and mild. Temperature is expected to rise becoming around its annual average.
