SANTIAGO, May 9, 2018 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas early Wednesday arrived in Chile’s capital, Santiago, for a two-day official visit, making another stop as part of his tour to Latin America.
Abbas is scheduled to meet his with Chilean counterpart Sebastián Piñera and other Chilean officials in order to discuss issues of mutual concern.
Abbas has embarked on a tour to three Latin America countries: namely Venezuela, Chile and Cuba.
During his meeting with his Venezuelan counterpart Nicolas Maduro in Caracas a day earlier, Abbas urged governments across Latin American not to relocate their embassies in Israel to Jerusalem after Paraguay announced plans to follow in the footsteps of the US.
