RAMALLAH, May 8, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Tuesday is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold with a drop in temperature to become six degrees Celsius lower than the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Scattered rain, thunderstorms and hail at times are expected to fall on most areas.
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active with strong gusts at times. Sea waves medium to high.
Weather at night is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold in the mountains. A chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some areas.
Temperature on Tuesday is expected to reach a high of 19 degrees Celsius in Jerusalem and a low of 13 degrees. In Ramallah, a high of 18 degrees and a low of 12 are expected. Temperature in the rest of the West Bank and Gaza is expected to reach a high in the mid-20s and a low in mid-teens. The Jordan Valley, however, is expected to have a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 20 degrees.
The PMD also predicted weather on Wednesday to be partially cloudy. Temperature is expected to rise while remaining three degrees Celsius lower than annual average.
Weather on Thursday is expected to be partially cloudy and relatively hot and dusty with a significant rise in temperature to become five degrees Celsius above the annual average.
Friday’s weather is partially cloudy. Temperature is expected to significantly drop becoming around its annual average. A chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some areas.
