Israeli forces detain 17 Palestinians from West Bank

 

RAMALLAH, May 7, 2018 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Monday detained 17 Palestinians during multiple overnight raids across the West Bank, said the Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli forces detained six Palestinians after breaking into and ransacking their homes in Qarawat Bani-Hassan town, northwest of Salfit.

Elsewhere in the northern West Bank, forces conducted a raid into Jenin refugee camp, where they detained two Palestinians after ransacking their family homes.

Meanwhile, Israeli police raided the village of Hizma, east of Jerusalem, and detained two Palestinians.

In Bethlehem district, forces conducted a similar raid into al-Khader town, south of the city, detaining three Palestinians, including a 15-year-old minor.

PPS added another was detained from the southern West Bank district of Bethlehem.

In Hebron district, forces detained a 17-year-old Palestinian during a raid in Halhoul town, north of the city.

They also detained two others during a predawn raid into Arroub refugee camp.
