JERUSALEM, May 7, 2018 (WAFA) - Palestinians demolished on Monday parts of their houses in Qalandia to the north of Jerusalem to avoid have to pay exorbitant costs if they were to be demolished by Israel, according to local sources.
Israel had notified owners of these building of the intention to demolish them under the pretext of lacking construction permit.
Under the same pretext, Israeli forces demolished two years ago eleven houses in Qalandia.
Meanwhile, five other buildings and a mosque in the same area were given demolition orders under the pretext of construction without permit.
