RAMALLAH, May 7, 2018 (WAFA) – Weather on Monday is partially cloudy to cloudy with a significant drop in temperature becoming three degrees Celsius lower than its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Scattered rain, thunderstorms and hail at times are expected to fall on most areas.
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to active with strong gusts at times. Sea waves medium to high.
Weather at night is partially, cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold in the mountains. A chance of scattered rain showers is expected on some areas.
Temperature on Monday is expected to be in the lower to md-20s during the day in most of the West Bank and Gaza Strip with the exception of the Jordan Valley where temperature is expected to reach a high in the low 30s. Temperature drops at night to the low to upper teens.
PMD also predicted weather on Tuesday to be partially cloudy and cloudy and relatively cold. Temperature is expected to drop again approaching six degrees Celsius lower than its annual average. Scattered rain showers along with thunderstorms and hail at times are expected to fall on most areas.
Wednesday’s weather is partially cloudy. Temperature is expected to rise while remaining three degrees Celsius lower than annual average.
Weather on Thursday continues to be partially cloudy, with a significant rise in temperature, to become two degrees Celsius above the annual average.
