HEBRON, May 6, 2018 (WAFA) – At least one Palestinian was shot and injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, while others suffocated from teargas inhalation as Israeli forces raided the town of Beit Ummar, to the north of Hebron in the southern West Bank, on Sunday early morning, according to local sources.
Mohammad Awad, a local activist, told WAFA that Israeli forces broke into the town prompting clashes with residents. The forces fired metal rounds, stun grenades and teargas canisters at local residents, injuring a 25-year-old youth in the leg and causing others to suffocate.
Meanwhile, the Israeli forces raided a number of homes in the town and detained three Palestinians.
